The band offers a varied performance of Scottish and Irish folk music and song, with a few extras thrown in! We use a loop pedal to create a full band sound with only two of us, with a lineup of fiddle, pipes, flute, sax, cajon and guitar. We can also do an acoustic set, on fiddle, flute pipes and guitar, playing a mix of songs and tunes.

About supplier

Kate and Roddy have been playing together for 15 years and have built up a rapport that makes for an engaging, dynamic and spontaneous performance. Both are professional musicians with 30 years experience, meaning that they are flexible and ready for anything!

"Great job, thanks! Good selection of traditional songs (which was probably somewhat wasted on the audience). Loved the lights which were unexpected and very much appreciated the music at the end and letting us jump on the mic for a bit of dancing. Would definitely recommend! Thanks Katie."

We had a Glastonbury-like home garden festival with family and friends. We booked Shenanigans for some live entertainment in the early evening - the description of simple Irish folk music with plenty of audience participation attracted us. They were great from point of contact to their performance. Very talented, good range of Irish folk songs and great audience engagement. Made a great weekend even more enjoyable!

Had a corporate function and wanted and Irish theme the band were excellent and everyone enjoyed their music, although no one danced it was not an issue as the band played music that was appropriate for the event and thoroughly entertained us. Thank you and we will book you again Jane

Mick and the band were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. When they arrived they had to make do with a slightly smaller area than originally expected but there were no complaints and they just got on with it and put on a brilliant performance, everyone who attended the party commented that the band really made it a great night!
