Steve made my 50th birthday special. Quality setup, great tunes and an excellent DJ. A great mix of tunes. Gave him a playlist which he expertly interwoven with other tunes, took requests. Very professional. Recommended!

We hired Simon to DJ our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic! After first hiring Simon we received a questionnaire to complete, including a list of songs we definitely wanted to play, a list of songs we didn't want played (even if people asked), the timings of the day, and any special requests. We also had a call with Simon to go through the questionnaire and some further details. This was very helpful because there were a load of details we had not considered before and Simon also suggested some great ideas which we decided to incorporate into our day. At some other weddings we've been to, the DJ didn't play any requests, ignored the list provided by the bride and groom, and didn't read the room very well, Simon was the exact opposite. My husband and I, along with our guests had an absolutely fantastic time. The dance floor was full all night and we got so many complements on the music. He ensured there were songs from different genres and time periods to ensure all our guests could dance to something they enjoyed. Would recommend Simon to anyone hosting an event, he definitely made the night!

Thanks to Sowden's Sounds for providing the entertainment at our party. The setup was perfectly on time and he played a great selection of music to suit the crowd, as well as a few requests. It was a surprise party so it was all curated very well to the event. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service that was provided and I would recommend to anybody - thanks.

Nil was fantastic. Comms before event were excellent. He was early to setup. Had a great selection of music and setup was brilliant. He read the room well and played music to match the mood. He had a first my now Fiancee one upped me on her surprise 40th and proposed to me, and he changed the song immediately to match the occasion. Tha k you so much Nik, aee u at the wedding again.

Played everything we asked for. Plus some other music.
Acknowledged people when they requested tracks.
He was attentive when we aked for the music to be turned down a little.
Overall we are both satisfied."
