Can the menu be adapted for my dietary requirements?

Many of our waffle cart suppliers that are available for hire in London, offer menu adaptations to accommodate specific dietary requirements such as vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten free. Once you have chosen the service you would like to use, you can check their menu and information about dietary restrictions on their Poptop service description page. Some suppliers need these special requirements to be pre-ordered, so make sure you contact them directly if you wish to adapt the menu.

Should I provide any crockery or cutlery?

Each waffle cart service has its own bespoke way of serving waffles. Some suppliers serve waffles in boxes or on plates with disposable wooden cutlery and napkins, others serve waffles on disposable wooden skewers. However, a few carts don’t supply any cutlery, so it is important to contact the supplier to confirm these details in advance.

Are there any technical requirements to hire a waffle cart for a party?

The technical requirements for each waffle cart hire varies, so it is important to check each specific supplier page before booking. Some carts are available for both indoor and outdoor events. Most carts require a space of 3m x 3m with some, especially the outdoor ones, requiring a height access of 2.5m. Another common requirement is a power supply of 2 standard 13 amp plug sockets. Some also require access to a water supply or a table. The set-up times range from 30 minutes to 3 hours in advance of the event. How much does it cost to hire a waffle cart in London?

The prices of hiring a waffle cart in London are either arranged on a per person basis or per the event. Prices start from £5 per person and £350 per event. The price depends on the number of waffles each guest will get and the number of hours you hire the cart for. Suppliers often have a minimum and a maximum guest limit that they are able to cater for.
