The team filled an extremely last minute service need and delivery from the staff in attendance was flawless. It was a busy event and I barely got the opportunity to speak with the team, they took care of everything and I didn't need to worry about a thing. We will use this team for any event we run.

We booked two servers through PopTop for an evening wedding reception (50 guests) at home, 31/08/24.
They were brilliant from start to finish!
Both arrived promptly and got into their work immediately, clearly very experienced. The gentleman (Soma) set up a bar area quickly and efficiently. He was friendly, helpful and courteous , welcoming the guests with a smile and a drink, clearing up, replenishing drinks and ice promptly. The lady (Nilufa) plated the buffet food, presenting everything beautifully from the fridge to the table, ensuring everything required was there for the guests. She was very vigilant for example she reacted immediately when a guest dropped a couple of wine glasses, promptly sweeping up. She worked the room checking everyone had what they wanted, and was also extremely tidy and conscientious. When they left the waste was bagged, and recycling separated and in the recycling bins. I can’t rate them both too highly and they contributed to the success of the party.. I was really impressed with the whole service provided, 10/10!

Nylvanna and Amala. What can I say. They were punctual and once they arrived they almost took over the whole party flawlessly. They helped prep food, lay tables, served food and drinks, cleaned up spotlessly. They were so professional and brilliant. Will definitely be happy to hire and recommend it. Our garden party and bbq was even more enjoyable because we as hosts could actually socialise. 5 stars all round

We had a great experience with Activ8 Live. Their communication was prompt, clear and helpful. The server showed up a few minutes early and got familiar with my kitchen. She took care of all the food prep / serving and cleaning up. I was able to really enjoy the event at our house because of all of her help

2 out of the three staff were late, and this kind of disrupted everything further down the line. One of the waitresses asked if she can drink on the job, which is a huge reflection, I spoke with Mark of Active8 but then received no further communication from him as to what transpired with respect to the short comings of the staff. One young man Gbenga was super impressive and worked amazingly apart from him I would say the service fell monumentally short of expectations...

This is my first time using Activ8 Live and I have been impressed with the communication level from the start. Value for money and they have sent me 4 amazing staffs that help me during 140 wedding service. Staffs were polite, easy to work with and nicely dressed. Thank you very much and highly recommended!
I booked 2staff. 1 member if staff arrived late but did not let me know and started to help the cocktail bar staff. The cocktail bar staff were booked independently. The 2nd member of staff called me and said thet she was running late due to traffic and arrived ar 7:45. Instead of 6:30pm. Then the 1st staff did a swap and not told anyone. All it would have taken Is for them to call me and introduce themselves and ask what we needed help with. It was totally disorganised! I found them on phones in utility room. I dont mind at all but i booked and paid for help at a special event. I am very disappointed with the service.
Communicating with Active 8 was very easy, but I expected more.
Firstly, my server did not dress professionally, even though I requested and expected them to be wearing a shirt and trousers.
There was a miscommunication on the day which lead to the server being let into the property 10 minutes later than planned. I apologised for this but I felt like she had quite a negative attitude.
She also failed to follow basic requests. For instance, I asked for the champagne flutes to be left in the kitchen. However, she put them on the dining table, so I had to collect the glasses back after the dinner so that we could use them for the toast. I also asked for my father to be served first as it was his birthday dinner (he was the head of the table). However, she proceed to serve two other people first and I had to remind her once again to please remember to serve my dad first. Additionally, when dessert was being served I advised her that everyone on the right hand side was having one dessert and that the left hand side were having the other dessert (as the guests had ordered desserts beforehand) yet she proceeded to serve the desserts incorrectly so I had to swap some desserts, which was embarrassing and I stepped in to help serve because I was frustrated with the errors.
Responsiveness of the supplier was brilliant and all of my questions were always answered
Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at our wedding with the actual staff
Attended late which ok it can happen but on top of not being dress inappropriately wasn't really the one tbh crush shirts not a proper white shirt although that wasn't both of them still not what people pay their money for so if its a very fancy event I wouldn't take the risk in booking (wedding) ect.
