Very professional would use ASJ events again. The presentation was beautifully done. Very pretty looking tables with lovely crockery. Cakes and scones delicious.
Not too sure that Mango juice was actually pure Mango juice. Some sandwich fillings were a little on the stingy side. Some of the elders did need additional help with pouring tea etc. And the actual birthday girl didn’t eat very much because she wasn’t served. I would have hoped others on the table would have helped more, but they got caught up in the moment.
I think when the party is so senior in age, average age there had to be around 70, you need more staff that can ensure that the main guest(s) are served and assist the elderly in reaching centre pieces, pouring tea etc.
All three members of staff worked very hard, were courteous and responsive and actually looked like they were enjoying the afternoon tea party.

It was a brilliant team with the photobooth. They were reliable, professional and overall a great service! It really made the wedding having the photobooth, props and support to run smoothly! We had the most lovely lady from Llandudno. She was so sweet to talk to, and very popular with our guests. She made little hearts out of the Candyfloss which was a nice touch!
The Candyfloss stall was a hit not just with the kids and teenagers but also plenty of the adults so we are so glad we booked it and would recommend it to friends in the future!

Working to a small budget for my daughter's wedding in October 2022, I was delighted to find POPTOP as a resource of suppliers for virtually everything and in price bands starting at budget! Booked a vintage ice-cream cart from ASJ Group as dessert for 40 people. They were superb, everything went as agreed and expected, and it was a great choice. The staff were lovely - as was the ice-cream. The response from ASJ, when I was calling them to check on things, because I was having a bit of a panic, was exemplary. Thank you for your patience!

The adults and children at our wedding loved the sweet cart so much that there was nothing left for us (bride and groom) when we came back into the reception room after taking photos!

I was really happy with the service and the carts! We had both the popcorn and candy floss carts, and the ASJ were extremely accommodating. We booked them at the last minute and we were still able to have them in time for the event. I found their customer service very easy and fast to communicate with, and the actual stalls themselves were a hit at the event, particularly the candy floss. I would recommend ASJ Catering & Events to anyone considering having something like this at their party, etc.

The chocolate fountain was lovely, everyone enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful, the only comment on the negative side was there was no bin to put the rubbish in.
Professional and friendly service
Our event has been postponed and rebooked for July 2021. ASJ Catering have transferred our booking without hassle and without additional costs.
ASJ Catering were fantastic. They kept in contact regularly and on the day everything for the prom was perfect.

Amazing service - had popcorn machine, chocolate fountain and Ferrero Rocher tower. Arrived on time, was set up for us, and taken away at the end of the event. Plenty of dipping choices with the fountain and loads of popcorn. Would thoroughly recommend, and will definitely use again.

"ASJ recently provided catering for my sons 1st birthday for the kids and and adults.
Prior to the event I had got in touch with Ash and explained what I wanted for my sons birthday. During the lead up to the birthday and on the day, Ash had accomodated to all the needs and requirements for the party and nothing was to much or a problem.
This made me feel at ease knowing that the food was going to be good and how I wanted it, as planning a 1st birthday is a special time and just gave me one less thing to worry about.
On the day Ash arrived on time , set the food out nicely and even added a personal touch buy putting jungle themed soft toys between the food which was quite nice as the party was set around this theme.
I would definately use ASJ again and highly reccomend them!!

I had a buffet for 30 people and the hot dog stand. Food was lovely and the girl serving the hot dogs was lovely.
We had really bad snow and more than half of my guests couldn’t make it yet she turned up with my food even though a 20 minute journey took her an hour. She never stopped smiling .... real credit to the company."

Agreed with ASJ to meet at venue at 1pm. Their member of staff arrived at 1pm precisely! Lovely lady worked for several hours arranging the chair covers, sashes and nachos machine. Excellent communication beforehand. Fabulous service. Would use again and highly recommend
I have use ASJ catering on couple of occasions and they provide the most proffessional and amazing service you could ask for. I had to ammend time and what i wanted done leading up to the events and they easily welcomed it and changed it for me without hesitation or fuss. Highly reccomend them to everyone

We hired a chocolate fountain for our wedding. The hire was competitively priced and the communication beforehand was very quick so I was happy that everything would go to plan. People enjoyed the fountain on the night and overall it went well. Thank you.
We are deeply unhappy with the service provided by ASJ Catering at our event via Poptop.
The cart supplied was an old wooden cart and not the bike that we booked in the image showcased. The apples were not nicely displayed and were just put out on top of the cart in wrappers and as soon as the 200 were gone the member of staff requested to leave. We were also informed that he only received the booking at 10pm the previous night so this appears like it was sorted very last minute because the cart we had booked was already in use.
For the price we paid we could have supplied all of this ourselves at a fraction of the cost.
The only positive is that the member of staff was lovely and he did try and accommodate us as best he could but the cart itself and the apples were totally unsatisfactory.
We were relying on the helpers that were attending the event to provide service to tables. This was not clearly mentioned beforehand. As a result we ended up attending tables as a host more than enjoying our party. There were technical issues such as delay in preparing tea due to the kettle not working and tea being served cold in some instances.
This was unexpected and tiring for us to manage on an important and busy day. Apart from this, the company was very responsive with any queries and the workers were also very professional.
