Emma Fry is a violinist based in London, UK. Her playing has taken her all over the world to America, Canada, Japan, Brazil, India, Sri Lanka and all over the Middle East as well as regular tours within Europe.
She has worked with many high-profile artists including Clean Bandit, Eminem, 50 Cent, Ed Sheeran, Bring Me The Horizon, Maren Morris, Alison Moyet, Dermot Kennedy, Rhys Lewis, Marc Almond and Tom Chaplin. In addition to live performances to audiences of up to 80,000, she has performed for radio including BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge’ and Radio 2’s ‘Friday Night is Music Night’ and for studio sessions at some of the world’s finest recording studios including Abbey Road. You may have also spotted her on TV shows including the X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, The Voice and the BBC Music Awards with artists such as John Legend, Rita Ora, Sigma, Jess Glynne and Celine Dion.
As an orchestral musician, Emma regularly performs with the Northern Ballet Sinfonia (including guest Principal Second Violin and No.2 First Violin) and the English National Ballet Philharmonic. In musical theatre, Emma has enjoyed depping on the Les Misérables and Sunset Boulevard UK tours.

"Emma played for our wedding ceremony and afterwards as we were having celebratory drinks. Leading up to the event Emma was a pleasure to deal with, we requested mainly pop songs but also some songs that were unknown to her, however she was extremely positive and happily learnt them for the wedding.
Our wedding venue was Two Woods Estate, Pulborough, West Sussex. We got married in their red woods and Emma's performance there just made the experience incredible. All of the guests commented on how amazing she was and I would recommend her to anybody.
We wanted to use suppliers and performers at our wedding that were great people who we enjoyed the company of, and Emma was the only person we didn't get to meet personally beforehand however I needn't have ever worried."

We invited Emma to take part in our Wedding celebrations, and I asked if she would be able to play my late mothers' violin for the service, as well as other areas on the day. Emma was very flexible and accommodating, which really helped keeping us at ease for the big day. Upon watching the multitude of videos and reading reviews online, we had high expectations and wow did she exceed those expectations. She was very careful and respectful of the violin, and made it sound incredible. She was a perfect fit within the service and made the whole service feel so comfortable, she had a few people to tears with the whole performance, from the meaning and people being able to hear such amazing live music for such a while, during the pandemic. After the Service, Emma was more than happy to join the roaming band, and they said she was a joy to work with.
If we have another event, I would definitely being looking at Emma's availability, as she was a fantastic violinist, so many people raved about her, we are booking to see her live at future events, as we very much enjoy her performances

I can usually accommodate requests depending on what they are.
You can divide the set times to suit the schedule of your event however the breaks must be no shorter than 15 minutes.
Emma can be booked as a soloist on either acoustic (with option for amplification) or electric violin either with backing tracks or with her pianist. Perfect for a drinks reception or dinner, she can perform up to three hours of background music be it classical, pop covers or Cafe del Mar-style house. Emma reads her music from an iPad and, being wireless, is able to roam if suitable. For a more upbeat set, Emma can improvise alongside your DJ providing a unique twist to any party.
