Fancy Fries is a family run business that make traditional hand cut, twice cooked crispy fries cooked in beef dripping (optional) served with a selection of home made hot and cold toppings including meatballs, meat gravy, chilli con carne and cheese, chicken tikka and the finest fresh battered Cod.
On the dessert menu we have hot Belgian waffles with fruit, cream, sweet sauces as well as freshly made Eton Mess.

Amazing food and incredible service! James was so helpful every step of the way and all of our guests loved the food, especially the burgers. Choosing a caterer for our evening food at our Wedding was one of the most important decisions supplier wise for us. We are big foodies so the pressure was on!
After seeing the food options, photos on social media etc, I knew Fancy Fries was the right choice for us. We opted for fish & chips and Philly cheese steak loaded fries.
On the day itself, James & his team arrived and set up in really good time. They blended in perfectly and the set up was very smart!
We received SO many positive comments about the food, it was delicious. Put it this way, no one went home hungry! James even asked my husband & I what food we wanted so he boxed it up for us in case we didn’t have time to eat in the evening. This was a lovely touch!

I recently hired Fancy Fries for a work event, and I must say, James went above and beyond to make it extraordinary. From start to finish his communication was impeccable. The quality and quantity of the food were outstanding considering the price. The friendly staff also added a delightful touch to the experience. THE ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD. The staff are very helpful and happy to answer and question you may have! The food is delicious and you can tell the care that has been put in to make the menu and the food! They always have a smile on their faces and are always up for a party and a laugh with you! Very professional and james is always great with communication!

James at Fancy Fries and his team were fantastic when they catered our wedding recently. Everyone was blown away by the food and the options available (and they left us with all the leftovers which were smashed later that night). We were keen to have a tasting beforehand, and James accommodated this with a private meet-up prior to booking. It was also fantastic value, even with the travel and accommodation included included in the bill, as we were getting married at the other end of the country.
Really thrilled with the truck, gave a great vibe to the wedding, and our guests were even taking his business card for their own functions! Everything we were hoping for!

I can't recommend James more highly. He drove a long long way to my house for my birthday party and then cooked the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Everyone at the party was blown away. He also did a lovely vegetarian option. Everyone wants to book him now!

We hired James for our wedding in November right from the get go the communication was fantastic! My husband is lactose and gluten intolerant and James had no issues sorting this, the GF fish and chips were amazing! All our guests commented on how good the food was!
