Description
"So glad that we booked Holly for the event. She was the highlight of the evening and we wish that we had booked her for the whole evening.
She got the evening off to a great start and everyone was up dancing and enjoying themselves straight away, which is just what we wanted. Everyone commented how wonderful she was and how much they enjoyed listening to her."
Holly Marks is a singer with many years experience singing in shows, as a solo performer and also with bands. She has a stunning voice which is suited to swing and Jazz and also more soulful and pop genres. Her renditions of the Cole porter songbook classics are simply beautiful. The perfect backdrop to a reception or drinks party. Her vocal versatility is remarkable, from the beautiful jazz and swing standards she pays homage to the greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone. Bille Holiday and Etta James.
Then with the soul from the likes of Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye and also more folk style numbers by the likes of Eva Cassidy and Sandy Denny. She also kicks out some upbeat pop by singers such as Amy Winehouse, Adele and many favourites from the 50's though to present day. So regardless of your type of event, Holly has the voice and the range of music you need to make it special.
