I hire the screen for a baby shower, unusual I know but was a great success. Would definitely recommend and do again.
I hired projector for my mother’s 70th birthday and I am very glad I hired one as it turned out to be on the highlights of the party. All the guests enjoyed the slideshow and we had couple of tribute videos to play which were very clear and cinema-like when played. It was very easy to set up thanks to the very well organised instruction sheet. Everything was packed well as it included everything required. It was an excellent hire and I for sure will hire again for future events. Thank you
Overall very happy with service provided by Party Hire Equipment. All equipment arrived in good time and with all that was needed, including an instruction manual and list of all part included. On initial observations, I was concerned about the dirty marks which would not come off the screen, but as soon as the sun went down and the movie started, these were not visible. It was difficult to get the projector to line up perfectly, legs on the projector would of been handy, instead we used a couple of books to prop up and get the right angle. Overall, very impressed and would recommend. Event was enjoyed by all, thank you for making it happen 😊

My overall experience was amazing! The 90” screen and projector was perfect for my event.
Everything was so simple between picking the screen size I wanted, paying and delivery to NI! Setup takes literally 5 mins with the easy to follow instructions and information booklet included. Pick up after the event was straightforward as poptop arranges everything for you.
Excellent service, easy to follow instructions. Watching films on this screen has transformed my home viewing experience. Would definitely hire again.

The projector and screen kit arrived promptly and was very quick and easy to assemble with the instruction booklet provided. The screen was the perfect size for our event (showing a football match at a wedding, indoors) and the added bluetooth speaker worked brilliantly too. We had zero glitches or issues with the equipment and would 100% recommend it to anyone needing a larger screen for an event or special occasion! Joe at Installed Events was exceedingly helpful, and always responded very quickly via either the Poptop messaging service or email. Thank you!
The supplier, Installed Events, were great at communicating and answering any questions we had. The instructions for set up were really clear, as well as packaging the item to send back. I could not fault the supplier at all and would really recommend the projector and screen. We had quite a bright room and were still able to play mariokart and see everything.
One thing to remember is that you will need to buy cable cover if using this at any sort of venue (but that's just an extra tip).

I hired the LED headphones for my 40th birthday party. We received an excellent service , really easy to set up and great great range from the transmitter so we were able to set it up in the house while listening to the music outside in the garden.

The set up is very straight forward and easy enough to figure out which is very helpful. Headphones arrived two days prior to the event which was a sigh of relief knowing we had them ready to go. Great night had by all! Will definitely be using poptop again in future!! Thankyou

The package was really well organised. The screen quality was great and everything was very easy to set up. Our WiFi isn’t great so the film buffered a bit, but it was still great. The headphones are brilliant.
I’m really glad it didn’t rain - and that’s my only feedback. Is there a way of providing some sort of cover in case it rains? Otherwise, it would be a real waste of money to pay and then not be able to use the screen!

Very easy to set up, all packed in a very structured way, which made the whole experience enjoyable. We did have slight hiccup with connecting our laptop to the equipment but this was wholly due to the fact that we had purchased a new laptop and was quickly resolved with an adapter. Would 100% recommend.
Had the TV for the FA Cup final and after getting over the surprise how big it was, managed to incorporate it into a Gazebo, which was needed as the sides needed blocking out for some of the light to see the screen properly. Really simple to set up, ran a cable direct from sky box and picture was great. Good result too !

Hugely disappointed with the hire - it wasn’t fit for purpose.
I specifically asked the supplier if the screen would work at 8pm before completing the purchase.
It was confirmed it should work well.
The screen did not work until 10pm in the evening in total darkness tendering it completely useless and not fit for purpose.
When messaging the supplier with the above images they confirmed it will only work after sunset so in July this is 9.45pm. So the booking should not have been accepted. Absolute waste of money and I will be seeking a refund
The projector/screen was for my surprise wedding speech, it was delivered on time, but the projector was defected and with less 24hrs prior to my wedding. I tried to repair it myself but was unable to resolve nor calls were answered in time by supplier.
So I was unable to use any of the equipment,
Was a shame , but did put additional stress on the lead up to the big day .

I ordered 20 piece silent disco with 2 lights and fog/smoke machine.
On the receipt of the parcel the instructions were provided to take pictures of the packed equipment. Well first warning to others thinking of booking with them - take pictures of ALL the equipment individually and do it from all angles and cover every single millimetre of it! The equipment was packed away and sent back on Monday after the weekend. The parcel ended up with them on Tuesday 06th August. Email has been sent that they are checking the items and will issue a deposit refund when it is checked. I waited 3 full days for any sort of contact about the deposit return - nothing. On Saturday I emailed to ask when I can expect the refund to be processed - nothing. On Monday 12th Aug I resent my email at 13:22 that I am still awaiting response. I got sent two pictures with the note that the fog machine was "smashed apart" and they will calculate the cost and return rest of the deposit! I know for certain that this damage have not happen when the machine was in my possession. I asked for date stamped pictures of the equipment before it was sent to me - nothing. Obviously they only apply those rules to their customers and not themselves. Will be seeking chargeback through my bank to recover the deposit!
Terrible ! They stole my money and ruined my daughter’s birthday . IM CALLING THE POLICE !!! demanded more money after paying 100% through poptop and wouldn’t bring the items . DO NOT BOOK !!!!!!!!!
Very dissatisfied with the whole thing. Received it just day before. The hdmi cable I ordered separately didn’t work had to set it up another way and then we couldn’t even see the picture on screen for the event. Had to take it all down and put it into my lounge. Never again
