"A Perfect Wedding Band!

When I proposed to my now wife back in 2017, I was adamant that we would have a great ceilidh band for the wedding, showing my new Hungarian family a true taste of Scottish culture whilst having a great time. When I saw the advert for Iron Broo and how they were ranked one of the top ceilidh bands in the area I was sceptical at first having never heard them play. Then I was invited to a wedding that they played 4 months prior to my own: after hearing their 3 piece I knew my wedding would be in safe hands!
All through the buildup to the day Charlie was a great help, using his knowledge and experience to advise how to run the evening - he even transcribed a bagpipe tune for my great grandfather to play on the night!
On the day, the band were outstanding! Despite a small wedding the band with their charm and wit managed to get people up to dance and put on a tremendous show! The personal touches were carefully noted as the Orcadian Strip the Willow’s music was even tailored to incorporate Hungarian folk music that put a big smile on the new in-laws faces!
I could not recommend Iron Broo more to play at any function, they really are what they advertise and will now need to create an event just to have them back!

When planning my mother in Laws 70th birthday Iron Broo were recommended to me by a work colleague. They certainly didn't disappoint!! They were exceptional from the quick response when booking to the performance on the night. They got everyone up laughing and dancing from 2-year-olds to 82-year-olds. Everyone had a brilliant time. If you are looking for an interactive fast-paced fun filled evening then having Iron Broo as your band is the way to go.

Exceptionally good. Charlie ensured all our guests were on the dance floor and we had a great night. Their disco was tailored to different age groups. We will definitely book them again in the future.

My student society really enjoyed having the Iron Broo Duo play for us. It was one of the best ceilidhs I've ever been to. Great music, very good explanation of the dances so everyone could join in, and a few unique twists! They were very understanding of our needs and tailored the night to us.

An amazing ceilidh band who provided an unforgettable night of wonderful music at our wedding. Fantastic musicians and lovely people to have around. Charlie was great in the lead up with the organisation and communication and he went above and beyond, meeting up with and rehearsing with my Dad (also a musician) to create a really magical night. Everyone absolutely loved them! We would highly recommend them and would love to have them play for us again in the future.

What a fabulous duo. Held my 60th birthday party on 14th April, and Found them very professional and accommodated everything I requested. Everyone commented on how good they were, we even had a couple of games which were no problem for them to play music for. Everything was great, the way Charlie talked us through the dances and playing dance requests. Really made my birthday party very special.

Iron Broo performed at our wedding at Drumtochty Castle in November 2017. We couldn't have been happier with their performance. The guests were a good mixture of Scots and Americans, and everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. Iron Broo was very professional and yet easy-going. We looked into several bands and thought not only did Iron Broo offer exceptional music but also an exceptional value. Thanks for helping us create a truly memorable experience.

We used the Iron Broo duo for our society ball and I cannot fault them. They were very professional, accommodating and prompt from the moment we initially emailed to the end of the event. We had the ceilidh as well as the disco and they had the dance floor bursting at the seams with every single song. If you are looking for a band who can get your guests up dancing and having a good time this is the one for you!
