I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jared, not only was his show spot on but he was a thoroughly decent and likeable man. We had about 30 five year olds, the same number of adults and some "too cool for school" older children....and everybody was laughing. We booked Jared for my daughter 4th birthday. We had to squeeze everyone inside the living room since it was raining but Jared managed very well to performed all his magic tricks, entertain parents and kids too. Was really worth to add a special touch to our party. Parents gave us lots of good compliments after.

Jared and his assistant/partner arrived at the birthday venue on time and were incredibly professional. The party was an absolute hit with all of the 5/6 year olds that were there and many parents asked about Jared as they thought he was a very good children’s entertainer! We obtained a few quotes from magicians and my 6 year old picked Jared after watching his showreel. What a fantastic choice it was! Jared did not disappoint and his acts were funny, jaw dropping and completely mind boggling! Jared was prompt friendly and very professional. He explained his tricks everybody watched, eagle eyed, but could not see how he did them. Jared moved round the tables mingling with the guests. He has a relaxed style which made everybody feel at ease. He showed the young children how to perform a simple magic trick which they all proudly showed off to their parents. Jared came to my daughter's 8th birthday party and was a huge success. His show was well rehearsed and kept the children (and adults) entertained. Very clever tricks - I still don't know how he did them! I would strongly recommend him for any occasion.
Unfortunately I was unable to watch the magic show myself, but my colleagues and volunteers all said that Jared was excellent, especially as he subtly noticed children who might be uncertain and nervous before the performance and shared some close up magic with them beforehand.
Jared was great at understanding what was needed and communicating initially, however when I contacted him 5 days before the booking to enquire about the final payment and to check in, he did not respond. I tried contacting him 3 different ways before the day of the booking and heard nothing back which concerned me. I spoke with Poptop who said they would also try to contact him and arrange an alternative in case nothing was heard. I did not hear back from anyone so I managed to secure a back up magician myself just in case. Fortunately Jared contacted me at 17:22 the night before the booking to confirm he was coming and everything went smoothly afterwards. It was very stressful to have to deal with on top of running a holiday club for 72 children, but we were pleased with the performance in the end.
Jared kept the children entertained and laughing throughout his show. It was a great show but we were disappointed at how short it was. We expected a one hour show but it was only half an hour, followed by balloon modelling.
Jared arrived on time and was friendly and professional. The kids loved him and sat engrossed through the show. My only criticism would be that the show was a little short and the balloon making took up almost half the time. This left children queuing for a long time without entertainment. My daughter also felt that as the birthday girl she would have liked to be more involved. I hope this is constructive criticism and will benefit future parties.

We wanted to book Jared based on reviews sounded like a perfect match for what we were looking for our event, paid the deposit straight away on the platform. However unfortunately did not hear back from Jared within a week, he did not confirm the booking nor reply, the pop top team were also not able to get hold of him either so we had to find an alternative sort of last minute considering kids birthdays are planned months in advance. However things worked out at the end, wishing Jared all the best
