Not only our job, it is our passion to cater for all events. Serving up the best quality local produce, all items hand made by us. Our friendly, polite service staff can free you up so you can join your guests without any stress or fuss. Our promise to you is simple; providing you with a relaxed yet refined experience. Delicious food, presented beautifully, and always served with love, precision, care and professionalism.
Just let us know as many details as possible about your event, tell us what you like and dislike or if there any allergies or dietary requirements. We can get to work on creating a personalised menu to suit your event.
We prepare all food in our pub in Brighton; The Argyle Arms, BN1 4QB, our kitchen has a 5-star food hygiene rating for your peace of mind, this can be viewed online. You can visit us here to sample some food and have a chat about your event, we are also happy to visit your venue.
Canapés / Bar hire / Natural wood and Charcoal BBQ's / Afternoon Teas / Sharing Boards / Served Buffets / Self Service Buffets.
Delivery and drop off available for our cold buffets.

From the first moment we made contact, they put my mind at ease.
It was a tough gig.. a wake!
But they catered to the occasion perfectly.
They were kind, sensitive, and really helpful.
I would say they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we didn't need to worry.
May I add, we didn't make things easy.. I forgot the plates and everything was a bit chaotic, however Nick was great and totally took over and took everything in hand.
Thankyou.
I rank him very highly! He's reliable, helpful, kind, logical and polite. But above all..THEIR FOOD TASTES GREAT!

• Jan. 1, 2019"Pop catering supplied the buffet for our New Year’s Eve party. We only required a cold buffet and didn’t expect much from it, they went above and beyond.
We had only paid for a delivery service so thought they may just drop the food off and leave, they helped us set the buffet table which looked incredible, we couldn’t have presented it so nicely ourselves.
We never expected the food to be anywhere near as tasty and fresh as it was, they really pay close attention to matching flavours on each platter which on our low budget on New Year’s Eve we really were surprised. Keep up the good work Juliette + Nick and thank you once again"

We had canapés and a BBQ Buffet, each and every one of our guests have commented how beautiful the food was and that how the staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful without being invasive. We have now booked Nick and Juliette to cater for our Xmas party and we cannot wait!

• Aug. 18, 2018"We were organising a garden party for our daughters 30th birthday, we didn’t really know where to start when it came to getting everything in place. Nick and Juliette from Pop Catering Sussex helped make our daughters birthday perfect the perfect day & night, they booked us a DJ, set up a bar and cooked wonderful food on their BBQ’s which was a great showpiece it got everyone really excited for the food and it really lived up to expectation. The meat was deliciously tender and so flavourson, HANDMADE Pitta bread like nothing we’ve ever tasted from a supermarket Pitta, and their salads were to die for. They were happy to catering for our vegan friends and one coeliac, of whome all loved their food! And oh my goodness, lots of beer and gin options on the bar and the cocktails were amazing!
Thank you Juliette and Nick, we’ll be using again very soon! Everything was so reasonably priced, we could not have picked better caterers."

• July 7, 2018"We chose the BBQ & Buffet option which I can honestly say was the best barbecued meat I have ever tasted, super succulent and full of flavour, all guests were impressed.
We also had a pay as you go bar, we loved the cocktails, and lots of people were shocked they could pay by card as we were in the middle of a field!
Juliette made our floral table displays and helped create our photo bunting with lights attached so it could be seen when the sun went down, very creative and made our tables look stunning. Their staff are friendly and professional.
You guys were incredible.

What services do you offer?
Catering / Bar Hire
Do you offer a venue for the banquet?
Yes, we can offer venue hire in our award winning cafe boasting picturesque views overlooking the South Downs.
Do you cook in the same location as the banquet?
Yes - but we are happy to cook in any other kitchen or we can set up our rotisserie BBQ’s anywhere!
Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?
Yes we are happy to amend our menus to suit your event
What kind of cuisine do you offer?
-Mediterranean & French Buffet, -Basic Buffet, (hot or cold) -Greek Style BBQ, -British BBQ, -Children’s party food
Do you offer special menus?
Yes - we love creating a bespoke menu that will suit you and your guests
Do you also offer a wedding cake?
We can organise wedding or birthday cakes from our local baker
How does the open bar work?
We can set up a pay as you go bar which costs you NOTHING up front, your guests can pay as they order, using cash / card / Apple Pay. You are also able to pre pay the bar to an amount you want to then your guests can start paying once your budget is has been spent.
Set List/Services
Catering for all occasions corporate lunches, deliveries and buffets. Celebratory events such as; weddings, wakes, christenings, birthdays etc.
Providing BBQ's, table sharers and sharing platters, served buffets, self service buffets, buffet deliveries are available for all of our cold buffets / afternoon tea services. All hot food must be cooked on site.
Cancellation Policy:
Supplier Cancellation:
If Pop Catering are unable to attend your event for any reason. You will be notified at the soonest convenience and refunded immediately.
Client Cancellation:
Should the cancellation be prompted by the client you are required to contact Pop Catering at the soonest convenience. You are entitled to a refund of 50% of your deposit fee if cancelled at least 90 days prior to the event date. No refund will be issued for the deposited amount within the 90 days of the date of your event.
