Becky Power can choreograph up to 3 acts to fit any theme or music with a length up to 5 minutes in aerial silks and hoop. If there is no rigging or height, there is an option to have a lollipop hoop which can be set up anywhere and does not require rigging. This is fully self contained. This can be great in lower ceiling venues and still adds the magical aerial touch.
Fantastic experience! We booked Becky for a fire performance and aerial lollipop performance for our corporate event. Communication was quick and clear, Becky was very helpful from planning in the lead up, choreographing music to guest interaction on the night. I just wanted to take this time to sincerely thank Becky for their performances on Saturday, I really appreciated their flexibility with the change of schedule, it meant a lot to me!! All of my guests have said the same thing, that Becky was just absolutely amazing and the focal point of the evening, which is so lovely to hear. Where to begin with this review, firstly if your considering hiring Becky for an event or a wedding like we did… DO IT.
Communication is key with anything you do when arranging an event. You want someone accessible on the phone, flexible on ideas and with a huge portfolio of talents! That’s Becky on a tin! Not only does she have the biggest wardrobe in event history with so many costumes to fit your events theme she also has a huge amount of talent and offers so many options of performance. We opted for the fire breathing as we had a costal destination and looked stunning situated in the cove.
Beckys performance was incredible and when we looked around us and saw everyone with a smile on their face, interacting with it and taking pictures, we knew it was a hit!! Becky was happy to perform to our music of choice & always had a smile on her face. She was early for the event having someone so professional on time is extremely important so we didn’t feel like we were having to worry about start times.
Overall hiring Becky was an absolute joy & we’d absolutely hire her again for another event when/if we have one.
Our charity was holding an event at Touchwood Shopping Centre on Easter bank holiday to raise the awareness of Epilepsy.
We decided to hire Becky as a stilt walker. On the morning of the event, she arrived promptly and introduced herself to myself and explained what she was hoping to do.
Due to Becky height and stature as a stilt walker it was the perfect way to meet and greet the public attending our event. Becky created a truly impressive visual, with her amazing outfit. She also gave an wow factor, when she was mingling with the public – it did really show of her skills and entertainment as a stilt walker.
Throughout Becky was professional, considerate, kind, thoughtfull, caring, patient to everyone at the event.
Becky Power is an astonishingly gifted aerial artist. Becky choreographed and performed a tour-de-force acrobatic aerial dance in response to the dramatic abstract expressionist paintings by Melissa Wraxall and the Rimsky-Korsakov symphony ‘Scheherazade’.
The audience were spellbound and enchanted as the paintings came to life through Becky’s inspired storytelling and professional mastery of aerial dance. Her costume and make-up recalled the iconic beauty of Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes, with vivid arabesque swirls of colour catching the light.
For all who were lucky enough to be present it was a sensitive, emotional and truly cathartic performance. We look forward to welcoming Becky back to Pound Arts later this year.
Becky is a stand out performer, that I have booked on multiple occasions, for a number of reasons: her infectious, radiant energy as both a person and performer, punctual attitude and flawless presentations are only a few reasons why I will continue to book and recommend Becky. Her Aerial Hoop Acts in particular are up there with the best in the UK field of Female Aerialists and have audiences on the edge of their seats and mouths open at the incredible display of strength, flexibility and passionate performing when Becky takes the stage.
