Stretto String Ensembles

Words do not do justice in explaining just how incredible Stretto String Ensemble were. We booked them for my father's 60th birthday party as a surprise. Dan, who was our point of contact, was incredibly helpful from our initial booking, ensuring that we had all the music that we wanted and helping us to pull off the surprise element of the party. The quartet arrived in ample time to set up and were very efficient in quickly setting up before my dad noticed they were there! We asked for them to begin their set with The Godfather theme, my father's favourite piece, and when he heard their glorious playing through the hall and came in his eyes welled with tears! They played so beautifully, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house! They continued to play a range of music, all from a playlist we asked from their vast repertoire of music, and we had the best time. We danced to ABBA, waltzed to Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, and even had a spur of the moment 'Wheels on the Bus' for my 13 month old son. They were the heart of the party, and we were so impressed by their musicianship and professionalism. We will be hiring them again, again, again, and again! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you again for making our year!

Stretto String Quartet are absolutely brilliant and we were delighted with the service provided at our wedding. We particularly appreciated the responsiveness of our main point of contact Dan. Stretto played prior to our ceremony, during the ceremony and during the champagne reception. We got to select the music we wanted and it was all performed beautifully. We also had a piece of music specifically arranged for our day, which the quartet learned and performed wonderfully on our wedding day. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music as well. Really pleased, so thank you.

Efficient and friendly communications and clear payment details which made booking the music one less thing to worry about! The musicians were accommodating and flexible and really wanted to help make the occasion the best it could be.
