When thinking about the entertainment on your special day, what are the first things that spring to mind? To us its the music, the dancing, the fun, the laughter, the memories, oh the memories! Our aim at Sugar Promotions is to help create those amazing memories. The dancefloor needs to be filled, and that's where booking an expert Wedding DJ really adds the WOW factor to your special day! By getting to know you and working with you from early on in the planning process through to the early hours of your reception, its the details such as the playlist, the order of the day, the cake, the guests and our special ideas that pull together to create one amazing night! We can't wait to share it with you!
FAQs
Do you have your own PA and lighting?
Yes, everything offered and provided is owned by us at Sugar Promotions. We have our own shop/warehouse full of exciting props and equipment ready for hire today. For events including a DJ, we use top of the range 3.2kw FBT VN2000 sound systems in both black and white depending on your colour scheme, with additional surround speakers and bass bins where required for larger or different events. Our lighting offered is in a range of options such as moving heads, wash lighting and mood lighting.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?
Yes, we are covered for £10 Million Public Liability Insurance, underwritten by Hencilla Canworth for both our DJ and Photobooth services. We also carry PAT testing certificates for all equipment as well as method statements and risk assesments. All certificates are available for instant download on our website and sent by our admin team as part of our welcome email to the customer and venue.
What style of music do you offer?
We primarily perform at Weddings, Corporate events and parties. Our set aimed at events that include a range of ages will include a wide ranges of popular genres. For a more targetted audience we also specialise in 70s Soul sets, 80s party nights and Kisstory style sets. All music choices will be discussed in detail during our pre event meeting to ensure we create the perfect vibe for your event.
Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Yes of course, our motto is your party, your way. We will of course, based our wealth of experience, confidently advise on music choices, however we are always open to playlist suggestions and happily take requests on the night
Do you do open-air acts?
Due to the unpredictable British weather, we dont offer a full outdoor DJ set, however with sufficient protection such as a marquee or gazebo we will happily discuss this in more detail during the booking process on a case by case basis.

What does the wedding package include?
Our Wedding DJ Package includes a Professional Wedding, full sound and light show, a home consultation and £10M PLI Our Photobooth Package includes 3 hours hire of our booth or mirror, unlimited visits, 2 prints per visit, a guest book, props and a booth buddy to assist.
