The food was fantastic. Really fresh and original sandwich fillings... Not the standard go to ham and cheese ones. My wife and her best mate really enjoyed it and had a lovely afternoon. One issue only is that you can book a delivery slot time but its delivered by another company (DHL i believe) so you dont really get it for the time you booked it for so it would be a good idea if the website stated that. All in all it was brilliant and I will definitely use again.

I brought this afternoon tea for my step mum . We haven’t seen each other for over a year due to covid . We live 2 hours away from each other , so I was very dubious about booking something that wasn’t local to me amd that I could pre see . My step mum was super happy with the quality and taste of the lunch . She has a great birthday lunch , so Thankyou x

High tea was well received as a celebration on a 70th birthday.
I needed to change the delivery address at short notice and they were very helpful - even phoning me as they were making up the tea to check they definitely had the right address.

Bought this for my daughter for a birthday surprise. She was delighted, and said the food was delicious, a real treat! Thank you.

Food was delicious, well made and packaged well for delivery.... only downside is you don’t get many sandwiches would have like more for the price paid.

Can not complete review as the afternoon tea was sent under my name and was a surprise gift for family who didn't recognise the name so refused delivery. When I rang the company they gave me DHL number which was an automated service that was no help. Couldn't actually speak to a person there.

Sandwiches and dessert were okish. The lemon drizzle cake was dry. Baileys brownies were awesome. We did follow the instructions.

Sadly both tarts and one of the cop cakes was squashed, which was disappointing, considering this was a gift. Not sure i will use this company again 😥.

However the fruit and plain scones were dry and quite hard,

Was pretty disappointed that the clotted cream and the jam for the scones was forgotten. Other than that, everything was good.

The delivery arrived on time on the correct day, but compared to another similar order I made in January with a different supplier this was not great. I was sent photo’s of what was delivered and the presentation was poor and I do not feel this was good value for money. I would not place another order with The Corporate Chef again.

It was all ok, just not wow, I wanted it for the Sunday it was delivered on the Friday and I could have bought 2 packets of sarnies from Waitrose, 2 cupcakes and some scones for a fifth of the price.

It all went wrong as the afternoon tea arrived at my home in Somerset today and not Stowmarket which I had requested when first did the booking with your website. All involved now are very let down and I am very angry and will review as such Julia O’Callaghan

I'm afraid I can't provide a proper review here as my order for a special GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY afternoon tea for my parents was never delivered. I received a call from the chef an HOUR before the delivery was scheduled saying that it had not been sent and therefore the special event my sisters and I had planned for our parents special day, as we couldn't be with them, never was. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Gutted and extremely upset is probably more accurate. At least my money was refunded.

Very bad experience and very disappointed . Parcel is still not delivered still with courier.
