The Rock Ceilidh Band are a truly electric four piece ceilidh band with fiddle, bass (of course), electric guitar and drums (electric too), adding an exciting, modern twist to traditional Ceilidh music. Alternating well-known rock riffs with traditional ceilidh tunes we make sure your party rocks!
Instructions are given for all our easy ceilidh dances using fun-filled banter, making sure everyone can enjoy the dancing.
Our musicians have more years combined experience than they care to admit both at home and internationally, and hail from the Central Belt - we play most places in Scotland, from the Borders to Perthshire.
We specialise in weddings, and we also play ceilidhs for St Andrews Night, St Patricks Day, Burns Suppers, Christmas nights out, school dances, birthday parties, fund-raisers and corporate events.

Bass Rock Ceilidh Band played at our wedding last night and they were truly fantastic. The ceilidh flew by and everybody was up dancing the whole time. They could read the room and gave more challenging variations when needed. Everybody loved that rock music was mixed in with the traditional ceilidh! We had some guests swear they would never and had never danced at a wedding but even they were on the floor! For the DJ portion they really catered for everyone: playing Drake, Foo Fighters, Abba and Bruce Springsteen and keeping the dance floor full all night! Genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better band.

Bass Rock Ceilidh Band were incredible! The perfect mix of ceilidh and then onto DJ later in the night. The band got everyone on the dance floor and guided folks easily through the steps. The musicians were amazing, the rock music mixed with the traditional ceilidh music was awesome!
We had a great night at our Hogmanay Hoolie. The music was amazing and everyone loved the quirkiness of the style. Would definitely love to welcome Bass Rock Ceilidh Band back to Garvald.

Fantastic band and great communication throughout the booking. Thank god for Simom talking us through all the dances beforehand because it would of been pure chaos. Everyone had fun and the videos are brilliant.
