We’re The Groovy Cats - an exciting 7-piece band that plays weddings, corporate functions, and ski-resorts around the UK and Europe. If you’re looking for the perfect entertainment for your event, you’ve found it. We have a huge amount of experience, a diverse and exciting setlist, and a band full of outstanding musicians.

The Groovy Cats is a 7-piece band with the following line-up:

THE SETLIST
Our current setlist has been a decade in the making. We have tried-and-tested hundreds of songs and selected the ones that work best. On any given night, our setlist is a mix of high-energy dancing songs, party bangers and sing-a-long classics. We want the evening to go off without a hitch and a well-crafted setlist is absolutely essential for this to happen. We will learn first dance requests for wedding clients.
THE PLANNING STAGE
We also pride ourselves on being professional and accommodating during the planning stage. We will answer every question in a timely manner and try to accommodate any request. On top of that, we will use our extensive knowledge of events and weddings to help you plan the perfect event.
ON THE DAY
When you book The Groovy Cats, you can relax in the knowledge that your entertainment is taken care of. We will turn up early, set up our equipment in a professional manner, and get changed into our suits for the performance. We pride ourselves on our customer service and ability to mix seamlessly with the guests. Then, when we take the stage, you can guarantee that the dancefloor will be packed! We play 2X one-hour sets, building up the energy as the night progresses. Plus, we will DJ in between and after our performance (for free) to keep the guests having fun.

We booked the Groovy cats for our wedding and I can honestly say they are Amazing! If you are thinking of booking them do it! I have had so many comments since the wedding from everyone about how brilliant the band were, they really did make the night! Everyone was up and dancing and the set list they played was perfect. Extremely talented, professional, good communication, and most importantly for us they really got involved with our day and our guests. Most notably having an impromptu jam session with one of our younger guests! You really made his day guys.

I contacted the Groovy Cats as we were interested in the band performing at our work's Christmas party. Once we were put in contact with the band, they were very responsive and more than willing to help with the 100's of questions I kept throwing in their direction. I booked The Groovy Cats for my Dad's birthday party and everyone loved them - definitely one of the best function bands I've heard. They played a great mix of music and we all enjoyed dancing along. I can definatley recommend The Groovy Cats and would book them again without hesitation.
The whole crew were absolutely brilliant! They worked closely with me to deliver exactly what we needed, to give 500 members of our junior football club a thoroughly enjoyable evening! Thank you all for a great night last night. The guests all had a great time. You even got one of our farmer friends singing and dancing, something which his family had never witnessed. A professional party band
We've played weddings and functions around the UK - supported Peter Andre at an RAF function - played on Kings Day in Amsterdam - & played for 2 months in an Austrian ski resort.
We have a huge repertoire & can add trumpet and keys to make the sound even bigger!

We normally take a 15 to 20 minute break in between sets. This is flexible if it doesn't fit into your evening.
