Description
Uniforms at the ready and stand by for take-off - it's the 'Vintage Sweethearts' bringing a touch of khaki and dash of polka-dot glamour to your event. Top-notch harmonies, toe-tapping, hand-clapping performance and so much more. Take a trip down memory lane with the girls to "Hit the Road Jack" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and come along their journey putting anyone "In the Mood" to "Bake a cake" and "Get Happy".
Driven to accurately reproduce the great tunes backed by the big band sound of World War II, a great deal of time and hard work has been put into recreating not just the music but also the blackout glamour of groups such as The Andrews Sisters and of course, our own Dame Vera Lynn. Stirring your emotions comes naturally to these ladies. It's not patriotic fervor though as the 'Vintage Sweethearts' cover many of the up-tempo dance numbers of the time including those that set Blitz Britain dancing including Glenn Miller.
From the stage presence feel of a 1940's show, the style and costumes complement the act. Cheeky and fun-loving performers who recreate the spirit of wartime Britain.
Performing at over 500 events and nailed it on X-Factor and Popstars! Now that's something to talk about!

• May 8, 2020Unfortunately our event had to be postponed due to social distancing rules, but communication with the Covergirlz has been first rate. We have postponed the event for 12 months, and look forward to welcoming them next year. Meanwhile, we have enjoyed watching their performances on Facebook live and You tube over the weekend.
