Description
Solo violin is so romantic and is perfectly suited to classical, folk, pop, film & show melodies. It is a perfect choice for a civil ceremony, a church or an outdoor wedding. The solo violin works beautifully for pop, classical, folk, religious, film and TV themes and showtunes.
Some popular choices for weddings currently include All of Me by Jon Legend, Ellie Goulding’s How Long Will I Love You, Perfect by Ed Sheeran; classic lovesongs such as I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You & When I Fall In Love; classical favourite Canon in D as well as more upbeat songs such as Home, Accidentally In Love and Marry You.
If you would like live music to continue through from your wedding ceremony to drinks reception, violin for weddings can also play for this part of your wedding day while photographs are taken and your guests enjoy drinks.
Solo violin is also available for proposals, anniversaries, receptions and dinner music, birthdays and other family celebrations.
Emma is a professional violinist based in Durham and has more than fifteen years experience of performing at many of the region's most prestigious wedding venues including Wynyard Hall, Middleton Lodge, Lumley Castle, Matfen Hall, Beamish Hall, Headlam Hall, Le Petit Chateau, Healey Barn and many more, as well as travelling further afield on request to play for weddings and special events.
For a fuller more upbeat sound a violin/ guitar duo is available for both ceremonies and receptions and can play a huge range of music including pop, rock, jazz, folk, classical & film themes.
