How much does a singing guitarist for hire cost in the UK?

In the UK, booking a singing guitarist costs between £180 and £700 per event, depending on the guitarist you choose on Poptop. The average cost to hire a singing guitarist is approximately £350.

Does a guitarist provide all the necessary equipment?

Yes, as part of the service standards, guitarist for hire will provide all necessary equipment. Equipment provided are PAT-tested sound equipment, PA, lighting, and microphone. Guitarists for hire will also discuss the event playlist with you before your event date. They will set up & soundcheck equipment before the event. Any additional requirements should be adequately discussed with the vendor beforehand.

How long is a guitarist set?

You can choose a performance set time of 2 x 50 minutes or 3 x 45 minutes. If you want a more personalised package, select the 4 x 40-minutes option. This allows you to select any two songs for your event as well as a song that has been specially and carefully learned for you to enjoy. The total cost depends on the duration of the performance. The service price includes all sound equipment, set up, and sound check.

Will singing guitarists take my music preferences into account?

Yes, they will. Specific songs or playlist requests are welcome, though additional fees may apply. On request, background music between sets is also available. Pop, indie, soul & motown, and rock are some of the music genres that guitarists can perform. Summer Breeze by The Isley Brothers, You're All I Need To Get By by Marvin Gaye, Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, and Stand By Me are a few of the songs on the setlist.
